Description
The WoodHaven Custom Calls WH099 Acrylic Striker is a hand-held turkey hunting accessory designed to deliver sharp, consistent friction-call sounds when paired with your favorite pot or slate-style call. Built around a clear 5/16″ acrylic dowel mated to a natural maple wood handle, the Acrylic Striker gives hunters a balanced, durable striking tool for spring turkey season.
To use, the hunter simply drags the acrylic tip across the surface of a pot, slate, or glass friction call. The hard acrylic produces the crisp clucks, yelps, cuts, and purrs that turkey hunters rely on to draw a responsive longbeard into range, while the wooden handle keeps the striker light, comfortable, and easy to control in cold or wet weather. Its all-mechanical, non-electronic design means no batteries to fail and no moving parts to wear out in the field.
Finished in a natural acrylic and wood color scheme, the WH099 is a compact, vest-pocket-friendly striker that pairs with virtually any standard pot-style friction call on the market, including WoodHaven’s own line of pot calls. Whether you’re dialing in a single pot call or running a full turkey vest kit, the Acrylic Striker is a simple, dependable addition to your setup.
