Description
The Winchester Super X Heavy Game Load is a classic upland game and small-game 20 Gauge shotshell from Winchester’s legendary Super X field-grade lineup. Loaded in a traditional high brass hull measuring 2.75″ end to end, this shell carries a 1 oz payload of 8 lead shot at a 1220 fps muzzle velocity – a versatile configuration for upland hunting with any standard 2-3/4″ chambered 20-gauge shotgun.
The Super X Heavy Game Load designation reflects Winchester’s time-tested approach to game loads, pairing a high brass base with a measured shot payload and a moderate pressure curve designed for effective patterns at typical upland ranges. The 8 lead pellet is a dense-patterning shot size well-suited for small game and upland birds, while the 1220 fps velocity keeps the load comfortable to shoot through a full day in the field. The 2.75″ shell length fits any 20-gauge shotgun chambered for the standard 2-3/4″ shell.
