Description
The Weaver 48068 Top Mount Base 68 is a one-piece Weaver-style scope base designed specifically for the Ruger 44 Mag Deerstalker carbine. It is also a confirmed fit for the Mauser Bauer 3000 and Bauer 4000 rifles, giving it crossover utility for owners of both platforms.
Machined from aluminum to tight tolerances, this top mount base delivers a custom fit on the receiver with maximum strength for scope rings to hold under recoil. The base features Weaver’s classic cross-slot pattern, accepting any standard Weaver-style ring (including Warne rings), so you can pair it with the ring height and style that best suits your optic and shooting application. A gloss black anodized finish protects the aluminum from corrosion and blends cleanly with most factory rifles.
This is a 1-piece top mount base that attaches directly to the rifle receiver. Rings are not included, allowing the shooter to select their preferred ring height and diameter to match their chosen scope. Whether you’re mounting a traditional fixed-power scope for deer hunting or a variable optic for general range use, the 68 Top Mount Base provides a rock-solid, time-tested foundation for your optic setup.
