The Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Bronze pairs a hard-working bolt action hunting rifle with all-weather durability and a distinctive, handsome finish. Chambered in .270 Winchester, this Vanguard ships with a 24″ hammer-forged threaded barrel protected by a Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish on the metalwork, paired with a fixed Monte Carlo stock with a raised comb, dressed in black with bronze webbing.
The action is built around a stainless steel barreled receiver and feeds from an internal box magazine with a 5+1 capacity. A crisp adjustable two-stage match trigger pairs with a 3-position safety for controlled follow-up shots, and the bolt uses an M-16 style extractor for positive extraction in adverse conditions. The threaded muzzle is ready for a suppressor or muzzle brake installation.
At 44.50″ overall and weighing 7.50 lbs, the Weatherguard balances well for spot-and-stalk hunting in varied terrain, and the 1:10″ twist stabilizes the wide range of .270 Win bullet weights. Sights are not included, so the rifle ships optics-ready for your preferred scope mounting base.
