This DA/SA double-action revolver is built on a steel frame with a matching steel barrel and cylinder, all finished in a low-glare matte black oxide that resists wear and helps reduce reflection in defensive situations. An exposed hammer allows for single-action thumb-cocking, while a transfer bar safety blocks the firing pin from contacting a chambered round until the trigger is fully pressed – a meaningful safety feature on a carry revolver.
The Public Defender wears black Ribber overmolded grips that provide a secure hold despite the gun’s trim dimensions.
