Description
The Taurus 942 is a compact small-frame revolver chambered in .22 WMR, purpose-built for concealed carry, recreational plinking, and skills training. Its lightweight, low-recoil package makes it approachable for new shooters while still offering the controllability that experienced revolver shooters look for.
Built around an all-stainless steel frame with a coordinated matte stainless finish on the barrel and cylinder, the 942 pairs double-action/single-action operation with an exposed hammer for easy single-action cocking. The 2″ barrel keeps the overall length to a pocketable 6.60″, while the revolver tips the scales at 23.60 oz, balancing .22 Magnum recoil without weighing down a belt or pocket.
Shooters get a practical sighting package consisting of a ramp front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight, and black polymer finger-grooved grips provide a secure, ergonomic hold for both DA and SA fire. The 8-round cylinder delivers eight shots of .22 Magnum in a trim, concealable package that doubles as a capable training and plinking revolver.
