The Tannerite 12BR delivers 16 half-pound binary exploding targets in a single case, purpose-built for long range practice with high-velocity centerfire rifles. The 1/2 pound format produces a loud report and a billowing white vapor cloud that is unmistakable at extended distances, giving both shooter and spotter instant visual and audible confirmation of a hit.
Tannerite binary targets ship as two inert components – an oxidizer and an aluminum-based fuel – that remain safe in storage and ground transport. Once mixed in the included container and struck by a centerfire rifle bullet weighing 40 grains or more traveling at a minimum of 2,000 fps, the mixture detonates in a controlled reaction.
This bulk pack includes 16 individual 0.50 lb targets, premeasured catalyst packets, and a mixing container, so you have everything needed to mix and detonate straight from the case. The targets are rated Non-Hazardous for storage and ground shipping, are single-use, and do not auto-reset.
