The Spyderco Byrd Meadowlark 2 is a compact everyday carry folding knife from the value-oriented Byrd line, designed and produced by Spyderco to deliver the brand’s signature ergonomics and cutting performance at an accessible price. It features a 2.94″ clip point blade ground from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a partially serrated edge for versatile cutting across daily tasks.
The blade is full-flat ground for excellent slicing geometry and is deployed one-handed via Spyderco’s signature thumb hole opener. A sturdy back lock mechanism secures the blade in the open position for confident use. Closed length is 3.93″, opening to an overall length of 6.87″, with a carry weight of 4 oz.
The handle is constructed from stainless steel for a clean, durable carry, and the knife ships with a four-position pocket clip that supports tip-up or tip-down carry on either side, giving ambidextrous, fully customizable everyday carry right out of the box.
