The Smith & Wesson 1911 Performance Center Pro brings Performance Center hand-fitting and accuracy work to a classic full-size Government-frame 1911 in 9mm Luger. At its core, this Pro Series pistol pairs a stainless steel slide and frame with a matching 5″ stainless steel barrel that is hand-polished at the feed ramp and precision-crowned at the muzzle for smooth, reliable feeding. The pistol tips the scales at 41.2 oz, giving it the substantial feel of a full-size Government 1911.
Built around a traditional single-action-only trigger, the pistol wears a Matte Silver finish across both the slide and frame, with serrations cut into the slide for confident press checks and manipulations. A beavertail extension flows into the frame for a high, secure grip, while classic Wood grip panels fill out the full-size Government lines. Safety is handled by a grip safety paired with an ambidextrous thumb safety, giving the Pro Series the double-sided frame safety layout Performance Center builds into this model.
Iron sights consist of a dovetail-mounted front blade paired with an adjustable rear sight, giving both defensive shooters and sport shooters a clear, tunable sight picture.
