Description
The Savage Rascal FLV-SR is a purpose-built youth rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR, designed to give younger or smaller-statured shooters a scaled-down, easy-to-handle platform for learning the fundamentals of marksmanship. Built around a single-shot bolt action, the Rascal simplifies operation: the action cocks by simply lifting the bolt and the rifle can be unloaded without ever pulling the trigger, a thoughtful safety feature for new and learning shooters. Offered in New condition.
The barreled action pairs a 16.12″ heavy threaded barrel with a carbon steel receiver, both finished in a subdued matte blued finish that resists glare. The heavy profile adds mass to help tame recoil and steady the sight picture, while the threaded muzzle accepts a thread protector or muzzle accessory. Savage’s signature AccuTrigger provides a clean, user-adjustable pull, and a thumb safety sits within easy reach. Adjustable peep sights come pre-installed for iron-sight practice right out of the box, and the action uses a 1:16″ twist well suited to standard 22 LR ammunition.
The pink synthetic stock is dimensioned for younger shooters, with a fixed length of pull and a slim profile that fits small hands comfortably. At just 3.50 lbs unloaded and 30.63″ overall, the Rascal FLV-SR is light and compact enough for kids to shoulder, carry, and shoot comfortably, while the durable synthetic construction stands up to the bumps and scrapes of regular range use. Right-hand configuration.
