Description
The Ruger Hawkeye Compact is a shortened take on the classic M77 Hawkeye bolt-action rifle, chambered in 243 Winchester and built around a compact 16.5″ alloy steel barrel finished in satin blued. The trimmed action and shorter barrel bring the overall length to just 35.5″, giving this rifle a compact, lightweight footprint for comfortable carry and maneuverability in the field.
A one-piece alloy steel receiver is machined with an integral scope mount for a strong, repeatable optics platform, and no iron sights are installed, leaving the receiver clean and ready for your preferred scope. The rifle holds 4+1 rounds of 243 Winchester and uses the proven Ruger LC6 trigger paired with a three-position safety.
The classic American Walnut fixed stock is shaped for a traditional look and feel, with a slim forend and straight comb that sit comfortably from the bench or in a hunting blind. The warm brown stock finish pairs naturally with the blued metalwork. Built for right-hand shooters.
At 6 lbs, the Hawkeye Compact carries easily all day in the field, and the 1:9 twist stabilizes a wide range of .243 Winchester bullet weights. Purpose-built for hunting and target use, this M77 Hawkeye Compact is a traditional bolt-action rifle ready to mount the optic of your choice.
