Description
The Remington Slugger High Velocity is a hard-hitting 12 Gauge shotshell load built around a 383 gr rifled slug designed for smooth-bore shotguns. Loaded in a 3″ magnum hull and firing at a 1875 fps muzzle velocity, this is the load deer hunters reach for when shots stretch out past the brush.
The Slugger is Remington’s most popular slug, slightly oversized for great smooth-bore shotgun performance and improved bore sealing. Compared to standard 1 oz slugs, the 7/8 oz High Velocity load exits the muzzle about 13% faster and retains roughly 200 ft-lbs more energy at 50 yards, giving hunters a noticeably flatter trajectory and harder impact on medium game.
Each box contains 5 rounds. Choose a single box for range work or pick up a full case of 50 boxes (250 rounds total) for a full hunting season. This slug is built for hunting applications – primarily whitetail deer where a rifled slug through a smooth-bore shotgun is the practical choice.
Your purchase options:
- Box – 5 Rounds
- Case – 250 Rounds (50 Boxes)
