Description
The Remington Premier Match line is engineered for serious rifle competitors and precision shooters, and this 308 Win load is built around the legendary Sierra MatchKing BTHP (Boat-Tail Hollow Point). The 175-grain MatchKing has been a staple of service rifle competition, F-Class, and long-range hunting for decades thanks to its high ballistic coefficient and reputation for tight, consistent groups at distance.
Premier Match ammunition is loaded to exacting specifications with carefully selected reloadable brass cases, premium primers, and consistent propellant charges. This 308 Win load pushes the 175-grain MatchKing to a 2610 fps muzzle velocity producing 2647 ft lbs of muzzle energy, giving competitive shooters and precision riflemen the accuracy and repeatable performance match day demands.
Designed primarily for Target Shooting, this round is equally at home on the precision rifle course, at a club match, or behind a hunting rifle that needs premium-grade accuracy. The brass cases are boxer-primed and fully reloadable, making this ammunition a smart foundation for handloaders who want to replicate the original Premier Match load with their own projectiles and powder charges.
