Description
The Remington Core-Lokt is one of the most proven hunting bullet designs in American ammunition, backed by decades of field use on big game. Loaded in 7mm Rem Mag, this load delivers the flat trajectory and hard-hitting energy hunters rely on for open-country and timber hunting alike.
Each round features a 150 grain Pointed Soft Point Core-Lokt (PSPCL) bullet. The lead core is locked inside a progressively tapered copper jacket built for controlled, reliable expansion and solid weight retention on impact. The pointed profile gives a high ballistic coefficient, helping the bullet hold velocity and resist wind drift at extended ranges.
At the muzzle this load produces 3110 fps velocity and 3221 ft lbs of energy, making it a hard-hitting option for medium- and large-size big game. Brass casings are reloadable for handloaders looking to fine-tune their 7mm Rem Mag loads once the factory ammo is gone.
Core-Lokt is purpose-built for hunting, and its consistent accuracy also makes it a practical choice for sighting in a rifle and general range work.
