Description
The Pro Ears Gold II 26 is an over-the-head electronic muff built for indoor and outdoor range work, delivering a 26 dB Noise Reduction Rating while still amplifying safe ambient sounds up to 8x with high fidelity. Model PEG2SMB ships as a 1 pair in a black-and-gold colorway with gold-accented ear cups sized for adult shooters.
At the heart of the Gold II 26 are dual, fully-enclosed military-grade circuit boards with gold connectors, paired with proprietary DLSC compression technology that produces clean, natural, uninterrupted sound without the harsh clipping common to lesser electronic muffs. Sounds below the harmful threshold are amplified so range commands and conversation stay clear, while any noise above that threshold is compressed and limited in a fraction of a millisecond to protect your hearing.
The over-the-head design uses a padded headband and cushioned ear cups ideal for use with long guns, shotguns, and pistols at the range. Practical features include an auto shut-off to preserve battery life and a low battery indicator so you are never caught without protection mid-session. Power is supplied by 4 AAA batteries (not included).
