Description
The Pachmayr Decelerator Old English recoil pad is the classic, smooth-sided field pad built from Pachmayr’s famous Decelerator rubber. This Small size is rated for shotguns and classic style rifles, and uses a 1″ thick pad measuring 5.3″ tall for dramatic recoil reduction while preserving the clean, traditional lines of a fine field gun.
The Old English design is built around a solid base with no white-line spacer, finished in black rubber with Pachmayr’s signature tapered internal ribbing that compresses progressively to soak up felt recoil. The smooth-sided silhouette makes this pad a natural fit for upland, skeet, and sporting clays guns, as well as any classic rifle or shotgun where a clean, traditional look is preferred over a modern sporting pad.
Durable rubber construction stands up to years of field and range use, and the slip-on design installs easily on the buttstock. Whether you shoot heavy-recoiling field loads or simply want to make a long day at the range more comfortable, the Decelerator Old English is one of the most trusted names in recoil reduction.
