Description
The North American Arms 1860 Sheriff is a compact single-action mini-revolver chambered in 22 WMR. Built on the popular Earl-style frame, the Sheriff pairs an octagonal 2.5″ barrel with a 5-shot cylinder and an exposed hammer for traditional single-action shooting.
The frame, barrel, and cylinder are all stainless steel and wear a uniform stainless finish for corrosion resistance. Smooth rosewood boot grips fill the hand comfortably, while a fixed post front sight at the muzzle delivers quick, intuitive aim. A simple push-button latch pin lets the cylinder swing out for fast loading.
Compact and lightweight at just 6.31″ overall and 7.70 oz, the Sheriff rides easily as a discreet backup or travels cleanly to the range. The crisp single-action trigger and mild 22 WMR report make this revolver equally at home for plinking, small-game hunting, or as a low-recoil personal protection piece.
