Description
The North American Arms SW4 Sidewinder is a .22 Magnum single-action mini-revolver built for shooters who want one of the lightest, most compact rimfire revolvers on the market without giving up barrel length. This CA-compliant configuration pairs a 4-inch barrel with a matching stainless-steel cylinder and a stainless-steel frame for an all-weather, all-stainless package. The 5-shot cylinder, single-action-only mechanism, and NAA’s faster reload design make this Sidewinder quicker to top off than the comparable Pug, while the exposed hammer lets the shooter thumb-cock each round for deliberate, precise trigger control.
At just 7.75 inches overall and a trim 8.50 ounces, the SW4 disappears in a coat pocket or belt-pack holster, yet the longer 4-inch barrel delivers a useful sight radius and full-power .22 WMR performance. The grip is a traditional rosewood birdshead that sits naturally in the shooting hand, and the sights are a simple but effective stainless post front paired with a fixed rear. Whether carried for trail-side pest control, plinking, or as a discreet personal-protection backup, the Sidewinder SW4 keeps North American Arms’ pocket-pistol heritage intact and ships from the factory in the configuration required to be sold through California dealers.
