Description
The Mossberg 90831 is an OEM all-purpose replacement barrel chambered in 12 Gauge and engineered specifically for the Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag pump-action shotgun. This 28″ smooth bore ships with a vent rib for fast sight tracking, dual bead sights for quick acquisition in the field, and the factory matte blued finish. The package comes complete with the matching Accu-Mag choke set (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full) plus the choke wrench needed to swap them.
Built by Mossberg as a true factory barrel for the 835 platform, the 90831 lets you reconfigure your Ulti-Mag for upland, waterfowl, or sporting use without abandoning the smooth-bore versatility the 835 was designed around. The vent rib keeps the front bead visible in low light, the dual bead pairing provides a reliable visual reference for fast-moving targets, and the matte blued finish stays low-glare whether you are crossing a field or working a timber edge. The smoothbore combined with the included Accu-Mag chokes delivers a flexible pattern selection right out of the box.
Whether you are replacing a worn original, building out a dedicated second rig for a particular season, or simply keeping a backup on hand, the Mossberg 90831 is a factory-new, direct-fit upgrade that keeps your 835 Ulti-Mag running exactly the way Mossberg intended.
