The MEC 5024 Powder Bushing is a precision metal reloading component designed to drop a measured powder charge on a MEC shotshell reloader. Each MEC powder bushing is identified by a numbered size that corresponds to a specific internal orifice and a set powder drop weight.
This Size 24 bushing installs directly into the powder measure of any compatible MEC shotshell reloading press. Reloaders consult their published load data and the MEC bushing chart to match the correct bushing to their chosen shotshell powder, charge weight, and hull. Because MEC shotshell reloaders change charge weights simply by swapping bushings, a working set of bushings is a basic part of any shotshell reloading bench.
