Description
The Maverick Arms 88 All Purpose in 20 Gauge is a pump-action shotgun built around the proven Maverick 88 platform, pairing a 26″ vent rib barrel with a 3″ chamber and a 5+1 capacity. Designed as a do-it-all field gun, this All Purpose variant delivers the reach, capacity, and versatility that hunters and sport shooters expect from a modern pump-action shotgun.
The barrel is finished with a classic blued metal treatment and topped with a raised vent rib for a clean sight plane and added heat dissipation. Accu-Choke threads come installed with a Modified choke tube, so the gun ships ready to deliver effective patterns on targets and game. Sights consist of a bead at the muzzle and a second bead at the breech end of the rib, giving the shooter a fast, intuitive dual bead sight picture.
Controls are simple and familiar: a crossbolt safety behind the trigger guard is easy to reach with the shooting-hand thumb, and the smooth pump action cycles shells reliably. The full-size, right-hand buttstock is finished in Mossy Oak Treestand camouflage, a natural pattern of bark, branch, and leaf tones that blends well against hardwood trees and fall cover. Overall length is 45.25″ and the gun weighs 7 lbs, striking a balanced, swing-friendly heft in the hands.
Whether you are working a field, hunting from a tree stand, or patterning the gun at the range, the Maverick 88 All Purpose delivers the rugged simplicity of a pump gun, the reach of a 26″ barrel, and the concealment of a Treestand camo stock in one hard-working package.
