The Magpul Hunter American Stock is a fixed-configuration, drop-in replacement stock built for the Ruger American family of short action centerfire rifles. Its reinforced polymer housing wraps a cast Magpul aluminum bedding block paired with high-strength steel recoil lugs, giving the barreled action a rigid, repeatable platform without any custom bedding work.
Designed for right-hand Ruger American short action rifles, the Hunter American brings modern ergonomics to the platform with an ergonomic pistol grip, an adjustable comb for proper eye-to-optic alignment, and a length of pull that adjusts from 13″ to 15″ to fit different shooters and layering conditions. The barrel channel is fully free-floating, ensuring the stock never touches the barrel and does not interfere with barrel harmonics.
A non-reflective Stealth Gray finish and integrated M-LOK slots along the forend make it easy to mount lights, bipods, or other M-LOK-compatible accessories. The Hunter American ships as a fixed stock with no swivel studs included, giving you everything needed to upgrade the ergonomics, mounting options, and look of a Ruger American SA rifle.
