The Kleen-Bore SAF-T-CLAD SAF303 is a one-piece rifle cleaning rod purpose-built for .17 / .177 caliber firearms. Built around a solid steel core finished with the signature SAF-T-CLAD coating, this 33″ rod pairs a swivel handle with the attachments needed to keep small-bore rifle bores clean.
The SAF-T-CLAD finish coats the steel shaft while the swivel handle keeps the rod from spinning as attachments travel down the barrel. The rod tip is threaded 3-48 and ships with three dedicated attachments:
- Brass barb-pointed jag for patch pushing and solvent application
- Phosphor bronze bore brush for scrubbing leading and fouling
- Cotton bore mop for final solvent/oil application and drying
