The Kleen-Bore JAG228 is a Precision Barbed Pointed Jag designed to push patches through .270 caliber and .32 caliber rifle bores with confidence. The barbed point tip locks a dry or solvent-soaked patch in place during the entire pass through the bore, eliminating the patch-slippage problem common with smooth-tipped jags and making the JAG228 especially useful for short-stroking patches and working stubborn fouling out of hunting and varmint rifle bores.
This jag carries a standard 8-32 female thread, the most common thread pattern for centerfire rifle cleaning rods. It threads cleanly onto any cleaning rod with a matching 8-32 male end, making it an easy drop-in addition to an existing cleaning kit or a simple replacement for a worn or lost jag.
