The Hornady HAP (Hornady Action Pistol) bullet is purpose-built for competitive action-pistol shooting in 9mm Luger (.356″ diameter). This 500-count box delivers Hornady’s signature match-grade consistency for reloaders chasing every fraction of a point on the scorecard.
At the heart of the HAP is a cold-swaged pure lead core engineered for balance, stability, and repeatable in-flight performance. A copper jacket wraps that core cleanly with no cannelure, and the bullet is finished with a copper coating for smooth feeding and reliable chamber behavior across thousands of rounds of practice and competition.
The hollow-point profile is tuned for target and competition use, feeding reliably through semi-auto pistol magazines and delivering the pinpoint accuracy Hornady designed this line around. At 125 grains, with a ballistic coefficient of .158 and a sectional density of .141, the HAP is a go-to choice for action-pistol competitors running major-power-factor 9mm loads.
