Description
The Hornady Custom 303 British load (item 8225) is a centerfire rifle cartridge built around Hornady’s signature 150-grain InterLock Spire Point bullet. Loaded in brass cases, this ammunition is intended for hunting use in classic 303 British bolt-action rifles.
At the muzzle this load produces a 2,685 fps velocity and 2,401 ft lbs of energy. The InterLock ring works to lock the core and jacket together, supporting controlled expansion and high retained weight on impact.
Part of Hornady’s Custom rifle ammunition line, this 303 British offering is built to the same component standards applied across Hornady’s premium hunting loads, with consistent components and tight tolerances in every round.
