Description
The Fiocchi Golden Pheasant Extrema is a dedicated upland bird-hunting load chambered in 28 Gauge and built around Fiocchi’s premium nickel-plated lead shot technology. Loaded in a 2.75″ hull with a 7/8 oz payload of 5 shot, this shell is designed for pursuing pheasant and similar upland game where hard, round pellets and consistent downrange energy matter most.
The nickel-plating process produces hard, round pellets that fly truer to the target and resist deformation in the bore, helping the load shoot tighter patterns and penetrate deeper on impact. With a published muzzle velocity of 1300 fps, the Golden Pheasant delivers the velocity and pellet energy needed for clean, ethical kills at typical upland ranges, while the 5 shot size provides a balance of pellet count and individual pellet energy well suited to pheasant-sized birds.
Part of Fiocchi’s Extrema shotshell line, the Golden Pheasant is loaded in 25-round boxes with 10 boxes per case and is offered here in two convenient package options for the field or a full hunting season.
Your purchase options:
