Description
Fiocchi Defense Dynamics Low Recoil 12 Gauge Aero Slug – 1 oz – 2.75″
The Fiocchi Low Recoil Aero Slug (12LRSLUG) is the ideal solution for shooters who want the terminal performance of a 12-gauge rifled slug without the punishing kick of standard high-velocity loads. Part of the Defense Dynamics line, this 1 oz lead slug is specifically tuned to a muzzle velocity of 1150 FPS. This reduction in velocity translates into significantly faster follow-up shots and less shooter fatigue, making it a preferred choice for law enforcement training, home defense, and recreational target practice.
Despite the “Low Recoil” designation, Fiocchi has not compromised on accuracy. These slugs feature the proprietary Aero attached-wad design, which acts similarly to a shuttlecock, stabilizing the projectile in flight. This allows for consistent, match-grade precision out of smoothbore barrels. Whether you are outfitting a home-defense shotgun or looking for a more comfortable day at the range, the 12LRSLUG delivers the “stopping power you can trust” with a much more manageable recoil profile.
Note: While optimized for smoothbore defensive shotguns, the Aero rifled slug is also compatible with rifled choke tubes.
