Description
The Federal Premium Gold Medal line is Federal’s flagship match-grade ammunition, engineered for serious competitors in 45 ACP disciplines including National Match and IPSC. This GM45A load delivers the consistency, accuracy, and reliable function that competitive shooters demand.
Each round features a 230 grain Full Metal Jacket bullet launched at 860 fps from the muzzle, producing 378 ft lbs of energy. Federal builds these loads with match-grade primers, carefully selected propellants, and reloadable brass cases for repeatable performance shot after shot. The non-corrosive boxer primers and quality brass make these cases ideal for reloading once they are spent.
Designed primarily for target shooting, this Gold Medal load is equally at home on the practice range or in formal competition where tight groups and dependable function are non-negotiable.
