Description
The Federal Power-Shok lineup delivers hunting-grade performance at a working price, and the F203RS load packages a single 3/4 oz soft lead rifled slug into a standard 2.75″ hull designed for use in smoothbore barrels. The slug’s exterior rifling engages the bore walls to impart spin for improved accuracy out of a plain shotgun tube, while the soft lead construction is built to expand on impact for better terminal performance.
Fired at a factory-rated 1600 fps muzzle velocity, this 20 Gauge load produces roughly 1865 ft lbs of muzzle energy – more than enough for deer-weight game at sensible hunting ranges. A rifled slug is a natural fit for smaller-framed hunters, younger shooters, and anyone who wants shotgun-slung power without the punishing recoil of a 12 Gauge slug load.
