Description
The Federal Fusion MSR in 223 Rem is a hunting load purpose-built for modern sporting rifles (MSRs) and short-barrel AR platforms. The 62-grain bonded soft point is engineered from primer to projectile to deliver reliable expansion and weight retention on game, even from shorter barrels where many other loads lose velocity.
Fusion’s bonded soft point locks the lead core to the copper jacket, driving a large wound channel on impact. Loaded in brass cases, each round leaves the muzzle at 2750 fps with 1041 ft lbs of energy – an excellent choice for hunters running AR-platform setups that demand a load tuned to short-barrel ballistics.
