Description
The CCI 0025 Pest Control shotshell is purpose-built 22 WMR rimfire ammunition designed for short-range pest control. Loaded with 12 shot in a 52-grain payload of lead, it leaves the muzzle at 1000 fps and produces 115 ft lbs of energy. The shot column is engineered to break apart quickly at very close range, putting consistent, humane patterns on small varmints where the engagement is measured in feet, not yards.
This load sits within CCI’s Maxi-Mag sub-brand – the company’s high-performance rimfire line – and is built around a lightweight aluminum case. It is the natural choice for snakes, rats, mice, and other small pests encountered around barns, sheds, woodpiles, and gardens, anywhere a short-range shotshell is more practical than a pointed bullet. As rimfire ammunition it is not reloadable and should be stored and handled like any other live rimfire round.
