Description
The Caldwell XLA Pivot Bipod is a lightweight, two-legged shooting rest designed to provide stable support for rifles and other long guns equipped with a standard sling swivel stud. Built around a durable aluminum frame in a matte black finish, this pivot-model bipod deploys quickly and folds compactly for transport, making it a practical accessory for both range sessions and field shooting.
The XLA Pivot Bipod offers a 9″ to 13″ height range, giving shooters the flexibility to fine-tune their supported shooting position. The legs spring out to the shooting position instantly with the touch of a button and collapse forward for low-profile carry. A pivoting head allows the rifle to cant side-to-side for tracking on uneven terrain, while the rubber feet provide traction and help prevent the bipod from sliding on slick surfaces. Mounting is straightforward: the bipod clamps directly to the firearm’s existing swivel stud, requiring no additional adapters. At just 8 oz, it adds minimal weight to the rifle.
This is the standard 9-13″ XLA Pivot configuration from Caldwell, ideal for most centerfire rifles and providing a useful blend of height adjustment, lightweight portability, and quick deployment.
