Description
The Browning BL-22 Grade I FLD is a classic American lever-action rimfire rifle chambered for the versatile trio of .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 LR. A longtime favorite of small-game hunters, plinkers, and trainers, the BL-22 pairs traditional lever-action feel with the fit and finish expected from a Browning long gun.
This Grade I FLD (Full Line Dealer) model is built around a satin nickel-finished stainless steel receiver and a 20″ polished blued steel barrel. The smooth satin black walnut stock carries a classic straight-grip profile for right-hand shooters, and the short 33-degree lever throw cycles rounds quickly and naturally. A gold-plated trigger breaks cleanly for both casual and precision shooting.
Feeding from an internal 15+1 tubular magazine, the BL-22 keeps handling light at just 5 lbs with an overall length of 36.75″. The barrel is cut with a 1:16″ twist, well suited to a wide range of .22 rimfire bullet weights across all three chambered case lengths.
As a current-production Browning rifle, the BL-22 Grade I FLD is the kind of do-it-all rimfire that lives at the cabin, in the truck, and on the back porch – equally happy dispatching pests, patterning new shooters, or simply putting rounds downrange on a quiet afternoon.
