The Browning AB3 Hunter is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in the legendary 30-06 Springfield cartridge. Part of Browning’s AB3 series, the Hunter pairs a proven bolt action with a classic walnut stock, giving hunters and recreational shooters a traditional sporting rifle at an accessible price point.
At the heart of the AB3 Hunter is a 22″ button-rifled, free-floating barrel finished with a target crown and cut with a 1:10″ twist rate that stabilizes the wide range of bullet weights the 30-06 is famous for. The barrel and the steel receiver share a traditional matte blued finish, built to handle years of field and range use without giving up its classic good looks.
The bolt-action layout uses a standard trigger paired with a top tang safety for fast, intuitive manipulation in the field. The bolt-action feeds from a 5+1 magazine. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, allowing the shooter to mount the optic of their choice.
A satin black walnut wood stock anchors the Hunter’s classic sporting character.
