At the muzzle, this load pushes the Barnes TSX Flat Base bullet at 2200 fps, generating 5375 ft lbs of energy – the kind of authority you want when one well-placed shot has to end the encounter.
The TSX (Triple-Shock X) bullet is a 100% copper, lead-free design with no exposed lead core. On impact, the hollow-point nose initiates expansion and peels back into four razor-sharp cutting petals while the shank drives deep for straight-tracking penetration. A flat base profile and traditional .458 Lott chambering make this a natural fit for dangerous-game rifles.
