Description
The Barnes Bullets VOR-TX Safari in 416 Rem Mag is built for serious big game, where deep penetration, straight-line tracking, and consistent performance on the toughest animals are non-negotiable. This heavy-class load drives a 400 gr Round Nose Banded Solid at 2420 fps, generating 5203 ft lbs of muzzle energy – a proven payload for the Safari line and the dangerous-game hunting it was designed for.
The Banded Solid bullet is a heavy, solid copper projectile with a defined pressure band that initiates a shock wave through the wound channel and forces the bullet to track straight through heavy muscle and bone. Barnes constructs the Banded Solid from copper so it holds together on follow-up shots and penetrates deep enough to reach vitals on tough game. The Round Nose profile feeds reliably and delivers the classic deep-penetrating wound path safari hunters depend on for the largest animals.
Loaded with a brass case and built to the velocity, energy, and accuracy demands of hunters running 416 Rem Mag rifles, the VOR-TX Safari is offered here in two configurations. Each box contains 20 rounds; the case option includes 10 boxes for 200 rounds total.
Your purchase options:
