Description
The Barnes Bullets VOR-TX in 45-70 Gov is a premium big-bore hunting load built around the all-copper 300 gr Barnes TSX Flat Nose bullet. The TSX FN is engineered for devastating terminal performance, delivering double-diameter expansion, maximum weight retention, and deep, straight-line penetration trusted by hunters pursuing the largest North American game.
Loaded to a 1925 fps muzzle velocity and producing 2469 ft lbs of muzzle energy, this 45-70 Government round is loaded with brass casings to tight production tolerances for reliable feeding, consistent extraction, and the accuracy Barnes is known for. The flat-nose profile is designed for smooth feeding, making it a natural fit for any rifle chambered in the historic 45-70 Government cartridge.
Barnes designed the VOR-TX series for serious hunters who demand a lead-free, homogeneous copper projectile that expands reliably across a wide velocity range. Each TSX bullet is precision-formed from solid copper, eliminating the possibility of core-jacket separation and delivering the kind of terminal performance that has made Barnes a first name in big-game hunting ammunition.
