Description
The Barnes Bullets VOR-TX line pairs handloaded-style precision with the company’s signature all-copper bullet technology. Loaded in 30-06 Springfield, this round drives a 180 gr Tipped TSX Boat Tail projectile at 2700 fps and delivers 2914 ft lbs of muzzle energy, making it a serious choice for big game hunting from whitetail deer up to elk and similar heavy-bodied game.
The polymer-tipped Tipped TSX Boat Tail is engineered for controlled, double-diameter expansion with high weight retention, giving hunters the deep penetration and straight-line trauma Barnes all-copper bullets are known for. The boat-tail profile and precision-loaded brass cases help deliver consistent velocity and downrange accuracy at typical hunting distances, while the lead-free copper construction makes the projectile an environmentally conscious choice in areas where lead-free loads are required.
Built as a dedicated hunting load, this factory round gives serious sportsmen handloaded-class performance without the time investment of rolling your own.
