Description
The Barnes VOR-TX in 30-06 Springfield is a premium hunting load built around Barnes’ signature all-copper Tipped TSX Boat Tail bullet. Loaded to a 150 grain projectile weight, this round leaves the muzzle at 2970 fps and delivers 2939 ft lbs of energy – a flat-shooting, hard-hitting combination well suited to a wide range of North American game.
The Tipped TSX (TTSX) projectile adds a polymer nose tip to Barnes’ proven all-copper Triple-Shock X design, initiating reliable double-diameter expansion with maximum bullet weight retention. The boat tail profile trims drag and flattens trajectory over long-range shots, while the lead-free, all-copper construction makes it a clean choice for hunting in lead-restricted areas.
Loaded with brass casings, this ammunition is suitable for hunting and field use in any standard 30-06 Springfield rifle. Each box contains 20 rounds; cases hold 10 boxes (200 rounds).
