Description
The Bergara B-14 Wilderness Ridge is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag, designed for hunters who need a hard-hitting, accurate, and weather-ready rifle for backcountry big-game work. The Wilderness Ridge sits in Bergara’s B-14 line and pairs a precision-machined steel action with a modern synthetic stock finished in a hand-painted SoftTouch Woodland camouflage pattern.
At the heart of the rifle is a 24″ tapered, threaded barrel finished in Sniper Gray Cerakote for corrosion resistance in harsh weather. The barrel is mated to a steel receiver carrying the same Cerakote finish and is topped with drilled-and-tapped bases so the shooter can mount their preferred optic. The barrel comes threaded 5/8×24 and ships with Bergara’s Omni Muzzle Brake installed to tame felt recoil from the potent 300 Win Mag cartridge.
The action is a time-proven bolt design fed by an internal magazine with a 3+1 capacity, controlled by a smooth Bergara Performance trigger and a two-position safety. The fixed American-style synthetic stock is sized for right-hand shooters and finished with the SoftTouch coating for a positive grip in wet or cold conditions. The rifle measures 44″ overall and tips the scales at 7.70 lbs, making it a balanced package for spot-and-stalk or tree-stand hunting in mountain terrain.
Built around a 1:9.50″ twist, the B-14 Wilderness Ridge is well suited to a wide range of 300 Win Mag bullet weights, from lighter controlled-expansion projectiles for deer-sized game to heavier premium bullets designed for elk and other large game. Whether you are chasing mulies in the high country or working open plains for long-range shots, this rifle delivers the accuracy, durability, and recoil management expected from the B-14 platform.
