Description
The Dan Wesson Specialist is a full-size, single-action-only 9mm Luger pistol built on a classic 1911 platform and machined from stainless steel. It pairs a 5″ stainless steel match-grade barrel with a bead-blasted, serrated stainless steel slide and a matching stainless steel frame, giving the Specialist a duty-grade, corrosion-resistant package well suited to range and competition use.
This configuration features a 10+1 capacity using a single-stack magazine, an ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety for easy operation by left- and right-handed shooters, and an extended beavertail frame profile that promotes a high, controllable grip. The frame is cut with an integrated 1913 Picatinny accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers, and the undercut trigger guard allows a closer hand-to-trigger fit.
Aggressive Black / Brown G10 grip panels provide solid purchase, and the pistol wears fixed tritium night sights for low-light target acquisition. Overall length is 8.75″, with a weight of approximately 2.5 lbs.
