Description
The Remington Core-Lokt in 30-30 Winchester is one of the most iconic American deer-hunting loads ever produced. Core-Lokt is Remington’s original controlled-expansion bullet, featuring a lead core that is mechanically locked to the copper jacket so the bullet holds together and drives deep on impact. This 170 grain Hollow Point Core-Lokt variant leaves the muzzle at 2200 fps and delivers 1827 ft lbs of energy – textbook 30-30 Win performance out of a lever-action rifle or any other firearm chambered for this legendary American cartridge.
Factory loaded with brass cases and Remington’s classic soft-point / hollow-point nose profile, Core-Lokt has been producing clean, ethical harvests on whitetail, muleys, and other medium game at typical woods-range distances for more than seventy years. Marketed as a dual-purpose hunting / target load, it is a proven, time-tested round that has earned its place in hunters’ gun cabinets across the country.
