Description
The Remington Core-Lokt is one of the most proven big-game hunting bullet designs ever produced, and this 45-70 Government loading puts that legacy to work. Loaded with a 405-grain Soft Point Core-Lokt bullet, this round launches at 1330 fps and delivers 1591 ft lbs of muzzle energy, making it a heavy, hard-hitting load for serious hunting applications.
The Core-Lokt bullet pairs a tapered copper jacket mechanically locked to a solid lead core, producing controlled 2X expansion, high weight retention, and consistent on-game results that have made this design a long-time favorite among hunters. Brass cases round out this proven hunting load.
