Description
The Speer Gold Dot rifle component bullet in .308 (30 caliber) brings the proven performance of Speer’s loaded personal protection line to the handloading bench. Each 168 grain Soft Point bullet is built around the Gold Dot design, engineered to deliver 100 percent weight retention and consistent penetration on impact.
Designed for self-defense and personal protection applications, these component bullets let handloaders assemble their own .308 Winchester, 7.62×51 NATO, and similar 30 caliber rifle loads. The Soft Point profile delivers reliable expansion across a wide velocity range, making this bullet an excellent choice for defensive rifle handloads.
Each bullet measures 1.150″ overall length with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .572 and a sectional density of .253, translating into flat trajectories and consistent terminal performance. Bullets are packaged 50 per box with 20 boxes per case, and they are manufactured in the USA.
