Description
The Henry Big Boy X Model brings a modern, tactical-styled attitude to Henry’s classic .45 Colt (Long Colt) lever-action platform. Built around a blued steel receiver and a 17.40″ blued steel barrel with a threaded muzzle, the X Model pairs traditional American lever-action engineering with a rugged black synthetic stock for shooters who want a hard-working, all-weather carbine. A 7+1 capacity, 36.30″ overall length, and 7.30 lb carry weight keep it handy in the field, on the trail, or at the range.
The action is Henry’s proven lever design with a transfer bar safety, feeding from a tubular magazine. The 1:16″ twist stabilizes a wide range of .45 Colt loads, from cowboy-action light bullets to heavier hunting projectiles. Fiber optic front and adjustable fiber optic rear sights provide a fast, intuitive sight picture in low light, while the threaded muzzle allows easy installation of a muzzle device or suppressor where local regulations permit. The right-hand stock configuration and all-steel metalwork round out a rifle that is proudly made in the USA.
