Chambered in the 6.5 PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge), this load drives a 130-grain bullet to a factory-rated muzzle velocity of 3000 fps, producing 2598 ft lbs of energy at the muzzle for a flat trajectory and reliable downrange performance.
The Terminal Ascent bullet features a streamlined polymer tip and a design intended to expand reliably across a wide velocity window while retaining weight on impact. A nickel-plated brass case resists corrosion in the field and feeds smoothly from a magazine, paired with a quality Federal primer and a carefully matched propellant charge built to Federal’s tight production tolerances.
