Loaded in 20 Gauge on a 2.75″ shell, this round pushes a 1 oz payload of 6 copper-plated lead shot at 1350 fps, delivering the flat trajectories, tight patterns, and hard-hitting energy needed to put down flushing roosters at upland-bird ranges.
The Pheasant Forever load sits inside Federal’s Wing-Shok Premium upland lineup, where each shell is built around a plastic hull and a tuned propellant charge that produces consistent pressures and uniform velocities shot-to-shot. The copper plating on the lead pellets helps the payload hold shape downrange, keeping patterns dense when a covey-style flush boils out of the cover. This is a lead shotshell intended for upland bird hunting where lead shot is permitted, loaded as a standard 2.75″ 20 gauge shell.
