Description
The Barnes Bullets VOR-TX line is precision-loaded rifle ammunition built around Barnes’ signature all-copper TSX bullets, offering double-diameter expansion, maximum weight retention, and devastating energy transfer on game. This .30-30 Winchester loading is purpose-built for hunters who want the deep penetration and reliable terminal performance of a classic lever-action round, paired with a lead-free projectile that holds together on impact.
Each cartridge is loaded with a 150 grain Barnes TSX Flat Nose bullet, a heavy, all-copper projectile engineered for controlled expansion at the lower velocities typical of .30-30 Win lever rifles. The flat-nose profile feeds smoothly through tubular magazines, making it an ideal choice for traditional lever-action hunting rifles. The load drives the TSX FN at a muzzle velocity of 2335 fps, generating 1816 ft lbs of muzzle energy for clean, ethical harvests on deer-sized game.
This VOR-TX ammunition is built with brass casings for reliable feeding, extraction, and reloadability. The all-copper bullet construction also makes this load a great option for hunting in lead-restricted areas while still delivering the deep penetration and weight retention Barnes is known for.
