Description
The Fiocchi Golden Pheasant Extrema is a premium 12 Gauge shotshell purpose-built for upland bird hunters chasing ring-necked pheasants and similar tough game. Built around a 2.75″ high-brass plastic hull, this load drives a hefty 1 3/8 oz payload of nickel-plated lead shot at a muzzle velocity of 1485 fps, producing dense, hard-hitting patterns at typical pheasant working distances.
The nickel plating on the shot keeps pellets hard and round through the bore, resisting deformation for straighter flight, tighter patterns, and deeper penetration when they reach the bird. 6 shot is the classic pheasant pellet size – large enough to deliver serious stopping power on a big rooster, yet plentiful enough in the pattern to put birds in the bag through a fast-flushing rise. Fiocchi’s proprietary wad column cushions the shot and protects pellet shape down the barrel, optimizing patterns where upland hunters actually shoot.
Whether you’re walking a hedgerow, working a cut cornfield, or pushing through a CRP grass strip, the Golden Pheasant Extrema is engineered to put roosters down. This 12GPX6 load ships in 25-round boxes and is also available as a full 250-round case of ten boxes for a full season’s worth of upland days.
